What is Paintball?

Paintball is a fun and safe activity from the age of 12* upwards!  You are issued with full camouflage overalls, a padded snood and a paintball marker (gun). Paintballs are totally bio-degradable and safe for the enviroment.

* Age 11 if the player is in year 7 at school

Does it hurt and is it dangerous?

If you are wearing sensible clothing - a jacket, thick jumper or overalls, then the answer is NO!! But if you are running about in the altogether, expect a short sharp shock. Safety is the key word. On arrival at our site you will be issued with a safety mask, specifically designed for paintball, coveralls to protect your clothes and other safety items.  All female players are issued with chest protectors (not optional) these are also available for juniors players.

A comprehensive safety talk will be given at the start of the day before any player is allowed to get hold of their marker (OK then gun!) or start playing.

 How much does it cost?

A basic bronze package will include all safety equipment, coveralls, the hire of a marker but NO paintballs. Silver and Gold packages include all the equipment plus various amounts of paintballs. Full day packages include HOT lunch at the Brighouse and Wakefield venues. Visit paintball packages to see all our prices

Individual packages can be tailored to suit your requirements from £10 per person

We are often asked - How many paintballs will a player need? - The simple answer is we don't know because we are not pulling the trigger

Most players playing a half day will shoot between 300 and 500 paintballs (silver or gold packages) players playing a full day will average around 700-800 paintballs.

Whilst we can't restrict the trigger finger of players we can allocate players a certain amount of paintballs per game by arrangement with parents.

How long will it last?

Packages can be arranged to last from 3 hours to a full day and during the summer months paintball can be played in the evening

Typically half days are 9.00-12.30 or 12.00-3.30 and full days 9.00-3.30. During a half day session you will play 6 games and between 8 and 12 games during a full day session

What do I need to take with me?

In practical terms you will need a change of clothing in case you decide to crawl in the mud or if it rains, and sensible footwear. High heels are not conducive to charging around the woods. But the most important thing to bring with you is sense of humour and a willingness to get stuck in and possibly make a fool of yourself.

Boots are advisable when playing in  woodland

Are there any age restrictions?

You have to be over 12 years old to play paintball. We can accept players who are 11 years old but they MUST be in YEAR 7 at school. A parent or guardian must attend the safety talk at the start of the session so they are aware of the risks involved with playing paintball.

These  age restrictions are not flexible as they are a condition of our insurance policy!!

How do I arrange a game?

The first thing to do is read through information on the web site. It is then down to phoning or emailing for help and advice and to find out what you get for your money. You will be asked to send a deposit and estimate the number of people playing the event.

Then it's just a case of turning up on the specified day to experience the ultimate adrenalin rush......PAINTBALL
